A junk drive is a community cleanup day for your building or office. You pick the date and a time window, and we park an empty truck on site for those two to four hours. Your residents or clients bring us the things they no longer want, and our crew loads it all and hauls it away in one visit. Think of it like a shred day, except the couch gets to come too.
For the whole window, our crew is there for your people. They unload cars, carry things down from units, answer questions and generally make it easy for anyone who stops by. Residents get an easy way to part with the old dresser in the storage locker, clients get a reason to come see you, and you get a cleaner building or a full parking lot of happy people.
Who Hosts a Junk Drive
Property managersGive every resident in a building one easy day to clear out, with one bill to your management company.
Condo and HOA boardsA spring or fall cleanup day your owners will actually look forward to.
Apartment communitiesA resident cleanup day that frees up storage rooms, cages and back hallways.
Real estate officesA client appreciation day, like the shred days you may already host, with furniture and electronics welcome.
Two Ways to Run a Junk Drive
At a real estate office
We park our truck, or trucks, in your office parking lot for the window you announce. Your clients and prospects drive up with whatever fits in their car, and our crew unloads it straight into our truck. Your agents get a morning of easy, friendly face time with the people they serve.
At an apartment or condo building
We park at your loading dock, or wherever works best, for the window you announce. Residents can bring their items down to us, or our crew can go up to their unit and carry things out for them. Heavy dressers, old mattresses and that extra recliner all get the same friendly service.
Either way, you announce one clear time window, like “JUNK Relief will be here 1–4pm on Friday, October 9.”
How a Junk Drive Works
1
Pick a date and time
Call, text or book online. Choose a two-to-four-hour window and tell us where the truck can park, plus any elevator or loading dock rules.
2
Spread the word
Print our junk drive flyer, fill in the date, time and place, and post it in the lobby, mailroom, newsletter or client email.
3
We park and wait for you
Our crew arrives with an empty truck and stays for the whole window, ready to help anyone who stops by.
4
We do the lifting
We unload cars, take what residents bring down, or go up to units and carry things out. Everything goes straight onto our truck.
5
We recycle, donate and re-home
Back at our warehouse we separate everything, so as much as possible gets recycled, donated or a new home.
6
One bill
We charge by the volume we remove. You or your billing contact get one invoice by email, with a W-9 on request and net terms for established accounts.
Ready to spread the word? Our printable junk drive flyer has blank lines for your date, time and location, so it's ready to post the minute you book.
What We Take
Furniture, from couches to dressers and headboards
Mattresses and box springs
Appliances
TVs, computers and electronics
Exercise equipment and bikes
Rugs and carpet
Boxes and household items
Office furniture and filing cabinets
How Pricing Works
We charge by the volume we remove, the same way we price every job, so you only pay for what actually goes on the truck. Usually the host, the real estate office or the property manager, pays one bill at the end of the day. If you'd rather, we can set it up so residents pay for their own items instead. Either way, there are no surprises on the invoice.
Where It All Goes
We separate what we collect at our warehouse, so good furniture and household items can be donated or find a new home and as much as possible gets recycled. What's left goes to a licensed transfer station.
Recent Junk Drives
A Downtown Condo Building
A downtown property management company has booked a junk drive at one of its condo buildings more than once. We set up for an afternoon, and residents brought headboards, bed frames, mattresses, nightstands, chairs and more down to the back hallways while our crew loaded the truck. By the end of the window the hallways were clear and the building had its space back.

A Real Estate Office's Client Appreciation Day
A west suburban real estate office has hosted a junk drive for its clients every fall since 2023. The agents send postcards and invite their clients, then for three hours on a Saturday morning the cars line up in the office parking lot and our crew unloads TVs, computers and household items straight into the truck. Another west suburban office has hosted one every spring since 2024, and more offices join in every year.
