Wanting your old furniture to help someone else is a great instinct. The tricky part is getting it there. Charity pickups can be booked out for weeks, and many won't climb stairs or take a couch with a little wear. We make it easy. We pick up from anywhere in your home or building, usually the same day or the next, and a large portion of the household items we collect finds a new home.

What We Pick Up

  • Couches, sectionals, sleeper sofas and recliners
  • Dressers, nightstands, bed frames and mattresses
  • Dining tables, chairs, desks and bookshelves
  • Appliances, lamps, rugs and boxes of household goods
  • Whole rooms or whole homes, including estate and move-out cleanouts

Items in good shape go on to a new home, appliances and electronics go to a local recycler, and we recycle everything else we can.

Why People Call Us Instead of a Charity Truck

  • No waiting. Same-day or next-day pickup instead of weeks out.
  • No turn-downs. We take the pieces charities pass on, so you're not left with half a room.
  • No heavy lifting. We do all of it, from any floor, with or without an elevator.
  • One visit. The donation pieces and everything else leave on the same truck.

Furniture Donation Pickup FAQs

Is this a free donation pickup?

No. We're a full-service removal company, not a charity, so there's a charge for the pickup. You get a firm price from the crew before any work starts, and it includes all the lifting, loading and hauling.

Will my furniture really be reused?

A large portion of the household items we collect finds a new home. Pieces that can't be reused are recycled wherever possible, so as little as we can manage ends up in a landfill.

Will you take a couch with stains or wear?

Yes. We take it either way, and we'll make sure it ends up in the right place.

Can I get a donation receipt?

Donation receipts come from the charity, not from us. Tell us when you book which pieces you'd like to donate, and we'll let you know the best way to get a receipt for them.

Is the pickup fee tax deductible?

Usually not as a charitable donation, because it pays for a service. The items you donate can be, and if you're a business or landlord, the fee may count as a business expense. Our guide to junk removal and taxes walks through it.

Can you take everything else too?

Absolutely. Most customers clear out the whole room, garage or basement while we're there.

Do you do donation pickups for businesses and buildings?

Yes. Offices, apartment turnovers and condo buildings are a big part of what we do.

Free Onsite Estimate, One Firm Price

We don't quote by phone, because we'd rather give you a number we can stand behind. The crew comes out for free, looks at what's going and how it's getting out (stairs, elevators, heavy material and all), and gives you one price that covers everything. Say yes and they do the job right then. Say no and there's no charge, no hard feelings.
