Hot tubs don't leave the way they came in. A crane set it on the deck or it arrived before the fence went up, and now the gate is 36 inches wide. Our crews bring saws, cut the shell and cabinet into sections that fit through the gate or gangway, and load them straight onto the truck. Deck-integrated (sunken) tubs take a little longer because we also remove the surrounding decking to lift the shell.
We've removed 25 hot tubs in the last 24 months, from backyard portables in Arlington Heights to in-deck installs in Winnetka. Metal frames and pumps are recycled; acrylic shells and foam are disposed of at a licensed facility.

Power disconnected before we arrive
A licensed electrician (or you, if you're comfortable) should disconnect and cap the 220V line. We don't do electrical work. If the tub is still full, we can drain it.

Crew quotes, then cuts and carries
One firm price on arrival. Shell, cabinet, insulation foam and plumbing come out in sections — typically 45–90 minutes for a standard tub.

Deck and yard tidy
We sweep up the foam and shavings. If you want the deck footprint patched, we'll leave it ready for your carpenter.
