Our crews know the tricks, like standing it on end, taking the legs off, unbolting a sectional and pulling the door pins, and if it truly won't go, we cut it apart and carry it out in pieces. That happens more often than you'd think, and the crew kind of enjoys it.
Couches are hard to re-home and can't be recycled whole, so most go to a licensed disposal facility after we strip out the metal frames and springs for recycling. If a couch is clean and structurally sound, we'll try to find it a home first.

Yes. We remove the legs, unbolt sectionals, and if there's truly no other way, we cut the frame and carry it out in pieces. We do this regularly.
If it's clean and sound we'll try to re-home it, but we'll be honest with you: most used upholstered furniture has no takers. Most couches end up disposed of, with the metal recycled.
Once it's been treated by a pest company, yes. We can't remove untreated infested items. After treatment, the crew bags and wraps the couch for extra protection on the way out.
You're welcome to be there, and most people are. If the items are outside, in the garage or the alley, or the home is vacant with a lockbox, the crew can do the job without you. They'll text you before-and-after photos and take payment by phone or with a card on file.
Yes, and it's a really common request. Book a window before the delivery and we'll have the space cleared.
