A Chicago garage fills from the alley side: leftover building materials, the old lawn mower, four sets of tires, the sofa that didn't fit in the new place, boxes from the last move. We've done 405 garage cleanouts in the last 24 months, from single-car garages in Lincoln Square to three-car suburban garages in Elmhurst and Glen Ellyn, and most take under two hours. Because we come to the alley or driveway, garage jobs are the ones customers most often have done while they're at work: leave the door open or give us a code, the crew quotes and clears it, and you get before-and-after photos by text. Metal, wood and cardboard are separated for recycling; appliances and electronics go to a local recycler; anything that can be re-homed instead of landfilled, is.

What We Take

  • Old furniture, mattresses and appliances stored in the garage
  • Lumber, drywall, paneling and leftover renovation materials

  • Boxes, bins and shelving
  • Grills, patio furniture and planters

  • Paint (dried), fertilizer bags and empty containers
  • Workbenches, cabinets and pegboard

How Garage Cleanouts Works

  1. 1

    Book a free onsite estimate

Book online, or call or text (312) 800-1940. Pick an arrival window — same-day and next-day are often available, Monday through Saturday.

  2. 2

The crew gives you a firm price on the spot

They look at everything and quote one number that covers labor, loading, hauling and disposal. No obligation: if it doesn't work for you, they leave and there's no charge.

  3. 3

Say yes and it's gone — same visit

The crew carries everything out from wherever it sits, loads it, and sweeps up. Most jobs are finished in that same visit.

  4. 4

You don't even have to be there

If the crew can reach the items — alley, garage, a doorman or a code — they'll do the job while you're at work, send before-and-after photos, and take payment by phone or with a card on file.

Westchester

House and Garage Cleanout Before a Sale — Westchester, IL

A Westchester house cleanout: a garage packed to the rafters, plus furniture, a hospital-style bed, electronics and bins throughout the house. It was a multi-truck job: the garage and the rooms were cleared in the same visit. The bed frame and metal shelving went to scrap; usable furniture was re-homed where possible; the rest went to disposal. Two trucks and two crews cut a pre-sale cleanout from two days to one afternoon.

Garage Cleanouts FAQs

Do I need to be home?

No — and for garages, most people aren't. Leave the door open or give us a code, tell us what stays, and the crew texts you a price before they start and photos when they're done. Payment by phone or card on file.

Do you take lawn mowers and snow blowers?

Yes. We recycle the metal.

What about tires?

Yes — Illinois bans whole tires from landfills, so they go to a licensed tire recycler. There's a small per-tire fee in the estimate.

Can you also take the stuff on the side of the garage and in the alley?

Yes, as long as it's yours. Alley piles are common in Chicago; point at what's yours and we'll take it.

Do you sweep up?

Yes. Every garage cleanout ends with a sweep so you're looking at a clean floor, not the outline of what used to be there.

What can't go?

Liquid paint, motor oil, gasoline, propane tanks, pesticides and car batteries are household hazardous waste. Chicago residents can drop these at the city's facility at 1150 N. North Branch St.; suburban residents should check their county's HHW program.

Free Onsite Estimate, One Firm Price

We don't quote by phone. The crew comes out for free, looks at what's going and how it's getting out — stairs, elevators, heavy material — and gives you one number that covers everything. Say yes and they do the job on the spot. Say no and there's no charge.

  • All labor, lifting & loading
  • Hauling & transport
  • Dismantling in place
  • Full cleanup & sweep-up
  • Disposal & recycling fees

The price is confirmed on site before anything moves — no surprises on the invoice. How our pricing works →
