Real jobs from the last twelve months: what the customer needed and how the crew got it done. The photos are from the jobs themselves, and we only ever use the city or neighborhood, never names or addresses.
Oak Forest
This Oak Forest homeowner was ready to say goodbye to a 20-foot above-ground pool. The water was already out, and the wooden deck beside it was staying, so the job was the pool itself: the walls, the frame, the liner and everything that holds it together.
Read the case study →South Loop
A real estate team reached out on behalf of their client with a South Loop high-rise condo that needed to be completely emptied, everything except the balcony furniture, before work could start. They sent photos, we sent a price range the same day, and we were there three days later.
Read the case study →Hickory Hills

Read the case study →North Center
We were asked to clear an entire building in North Center for the estate's administrator. Years of belongings filled the front rooms, the dining room and the bedrooms, with paperwork, books and furniture stacked throughout.
Read the case study →Lemont
This Lemont estate needed everything cleared before the home could be sold: every room in the house, the finished basement, the garage, the yard and a backyard shed. The real estate agent was our contact onsite, so nobody from the family had to be there for the work.
Read the case study →The Loop
A downtown office building in the Loop had a long, window-lined floor filled with surplus office furniture: task chairs, storage cabinets, panels, desks and stacks of boxes. They sent us photos, our team came out to give them a firm price, and we booked the work for a morning start.
Read the case study →Harwood Heights
A manufacturer in Harwood Heights was clearing out a building and invited us for a walkthrough with their team first. The offices held desks, conference tables, rows of red office chairs, locker banks, filing cabinets and a server rack, and the plant floor had its own tables, chairs and leftovers.
Read the case study →Fulton Market
A company in Fulton Market, just down Fulton from our own office, was moving out and had to be completely out by the end of the day on a Friday in December. The job had grown since our first estimate, and the updated estimate put it at 13 to 16 truckloads: desks, workstations, chairs, filing cabinets, a very long conference table, plus servers and electronics.
Read the case study →Romeoville
Our customer was closing out three units at a Romeoville self-storage facility and lived about 45 minutes away. The units were packed to the door with boxes, old furniture, shelving, chairs and bins.
Read the case study →Morton Grove
This Morton Grove customer had two townhomes to empty at once. Between them were five bed frames with their mattresses, dining chairs, a desk, boxes, and a garage holding more mattresses, boxes and a folding table.
Read the case study →Alsip
This Alsip above-ground pool had a raised aluminum deck and stairs attached, which is the part that makes a pool removal feel like a big job. To us it's a good day outside.
Read the case study →Naperville
An end-of-season removal in Naperville: an oval above-ground pool plus the small wood entry deck that went with it.
Read the case study →Deerfield
A two-story Deerfield home had leftover contents to clear after a move: a basement lined floor to ceiling with boxes and shelving, filing cabinets, and a crawl space packed with even more boxes.
Read the case study →Woodlawn
A Woodlawn basement had absorbed everything over the years: exercise equipment, paneling and plywood from an old finished-basement project, furniture, luggage, holiday decorations, even bowling pins and an artificial palm tree.

A Westchester house had wall-to-wall carpet, some of it decades old, over the living room, dining room, hallway and two bedrooms, roughly 600 to 700 square feet.
Read the case study →Near North Side
One of our contractor accounts was gutting a high-rise condo, walls, closets, kitchen tile and flooring, and needed debris hauled out repeatedly as the demo progressed, through a reserved freight elevator on a strict building schedule.
Read the case study →Forest Park
A Forest Park garage had become the catch-all for a renovation: broken concrete, plaster, bagged demo waste, old ductwork, pallets, windows and a whole lot of lumber.
Read the case study →Itasca
A suburban office in Itasca needed about twenty cubicle workstations, with all their panels, work surfaces, overhead bins, pedestal files and lateral cabinets, taken apart and removed.

A Bridgeport landlord needed an apartment cleared after an eviction. The former tenant had left furniture, a bed, clothing and household items throughout the unit.
Read the case study →Hyde Park
The largest estate cleanout we completed this summer: a full Hyde Park house, basement, first floor and second floor. Every room was full, and several were floor to ceiling. A job like this is where our crews really shine.
Read the case study →Lincoln Square
A Lincoln Square homeowner had a full-size grand piano they were ready to part with. The market for used grands that aren't concert-grade is thin, and buyers expect them moved for free.
Read the case study →Streeterville
A Streeterville condo needed clearing: a couch, a living-room chair, a rug, a mattress and frame, a small treadmill and assorted household items. The building required a freight elevator reservation and a COI, both of which we handle every week.
Read the case study →West Town
We were called about a second-floor apartment in West Town where years of papers, mail, packaging and expired food had built up. The goal was to make the unit livable and safe again without throwing away anything that mattered.
Read the case study →Norwood Park
A Northwest Side home had a full-size hot tub sitting inside an enclosed sunroom off the back of the house. It was drained and disconnected, but it simply couldn't leave, because every doorway was narrower than the tub. That's our favorite kind of puzzle.

Read the case study →Naperville
This Naperville job kept part of a large backyard deck and removed the rest. The tricky part was the nine support posts, each set in a concrete footing, which all had to come out completely so the area could be regraded and seeded.

Read the case study →We don't quote by phone, because we'd rather give you a number we can stand behind. The crew comes out for free, looks at what's going and how it's getting out (stairs, elevators, heavy material and all), and gives you one price that covers everything. Say yes and they do the job right then. Say no and there's no charge, no hard feelings.
The price is confirmed on site before anything moves, so there are no surprises on the invoice. How our pricing works →
