The treadmill became a clothes rack, and then it became a problem. It weighs 250 pounds, it's in the basement, and nobody wants to buy it. We'll carry it up and out.
Home fitness equipment is the classic hard-to-get-rid-of item: too heavy to move alone, too bulky for the trash, and worth too little to sell once it's a few years old. We've removed over 120 treadmills, ellipticals, bikes and home gyms in the last 24 months, most of them from basements and second floors.
If a machine still works and is reasonably current, we'll try to re-home it (our guide on where to donate fitness equipment in Chicago can help too). If not, we break it down and recycle the steel, since a treadmill frame is mostly scrap metal, and dispose of the belt, deck and electronics properly.

They take a look at everything and give you one number that covers the labor, loading, hauling and disposal. There's no obligation, so if it doesn't work for you, they simply leave and there's no charge.
The crew carries everything out from wherever it sits, loads it up, and sweeps up after themselves. Most jobs are finished right then and there.
Once everything is loaded and swept, the crew takes payment and emails you a receipt with before-and-after photos, so you can see the job is complete.

Yes, whenever it's needed. Most treadmills fold or come apart at the uprights, and home gyms we unbolt.
Yes. Property managers use us for fitness-room refreshes, invoiced, with a COI for the building.
You're welcome to be there, and most people are. If the items are outside, in the garage or the alley, or the home is vacant with a lockbox, the crew can do the job without you. They'll text you before-and-after photos and take payment by phone or with a card on file.
