The holidays were wonderful, and now the tree has to go. We'll carry it out of your home, down the stairs and out the door, and haul it away so you don't have to wrestle it into the car or drag it to the curb. Real or artificial, one tree or a whole office lobby's worth, we've got you covered.

Wrap, carry, sweep
We wrap the tree before we move it so the dry needles stay off your floors, carry it out carefully, sweep up after ourselves, and haul it off.
Where Your Tree Goes
We drop real trees at the City of Chicago's Christmas tree recycling sites, where they're turned into mulch instead of going to a landfill. Artificial trees and decorations are recycled wherever we can.
Add the Rest of Your Winter Cleanout
Most people use the visit to clear out more than the tree. Old decorations, the furniture you replaced for the holidays, and the boxes in the basement can all go on the same truck, in one trip.
Christmas Tree Pickup FAQs
Doesn't the city take Christmas trees?
It does. The city runs free drop-off sites after the holidays, and that's where we take the trees we pick up too. They're a great option if you can get your tree there yourself. We're here for when you'd rather not haul a 9-foot tree down three flights of stairs and across town.
Will you get needles all over my place?
Not if we can help it. Dry trees shed a lot, so we wrap the tree before it moves an inch and sweep up anything that falls on the way out. It takes a little extra care, and it's worth it.
Do I need to be home?
For a tree inside your home, yes. If it's already out on the porch, in the garage or at the curb, we can usually grab it while you're out, send you photos, and take payment by phone.
When do you pick up trees?
From the day after Christmas through January, same-day or next-day, Monday through Saturday.
Do you pick up trees for offices and buildings?
Yes. We handle lobbies, offices, stores and condo buildings, and we're happy to schedule around your building's hours.
